Amanshaev Ermek Amirkhanovich

The president of joint-stock company “Kazakhfilm” named after Shaken Aimanov

Born on March, 12th, 1963 in Mangystausky area. Graduated the High school № 1 of settlement Eralievo of Mangistausky region. In 1985 graduated the Kazakh state University named after S. M.Kirov; the philologist, a Cand.Phil.Sci. (Dissertation theme: “The spiritual and art sources of creation of a literary image”, 2005)

1979 - teacher of High school of settlement Eralievo of Mangistausky region.
1985-86 - research worker of the Central state Museum of Kazakhstan;
1986-88 - research editor of the Kazakh Encyclopedia;
1988-91 - senior secretary of “Zhalyn” magazine;
1991-95 - senior teacher of KazGU;
1995-97 – aide of Governmental body of Republic Kazakhstan;
1997-2000 - the adviser of managing sector, the assistant manager of department of Office of the Prime minister of Republic Kazakhstan;
2000-2002 - the Head of Department of Culture of a city of Astana;
2002-2003 - the Chairman of Committee of culture, the Vice-minister of culture, the information and the public consent of Republic of Kazakhstan;
2003-2004 - the Vice-minister of culture of Republic of Kazakhstan;
2004-2006 - the Vice-minister of culture, information and sports of Republic of Kazakhstan;
2006, May-September - a deputy head of the Press-service of the President of Republic of Kazakhstan;
2006-2008 – assistant of Akim in a city of Astana;
2008, April-May - the head of the personnel of National Joint-stock company “Kazakhstan temir zholy”;
Since May, 30th, 2008 - the President of Joint-stock company “Kazakhfilm” named after Shaken Aimanov

The member of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan, the Union of theatrical workers of Kazakhstan, the Union of cinematographers of Kazakhstan, has been awarded a state award of honorary title “Kazakhstan Respuplicasynyn sinirgen kairatkery”, the Winner of the award of the Union of youth of Kazakhstan.

The author of more than 10 works and books “Albasty turaly, anyz”, “The Moth Song”, of plays “The Interrupted Lullaby” (1991, the winner of the international festival of young playwrights, Moscow), “Behind a Hillock where Paradise is”, “Balcony”, performances on F.Kafka “Transformation”, “If I was a Sultan” (based on S.Vannus), “Alladin and the wizard”, of some documentary films. Plays are put at the Academic Kazakh drama theatre named after M.Auezov, the Academic Russian drama theatre named after M.Lermontov, at the Kazakh Theatre of young spectators named after G.Musrepov and others.
